An exploration for Southwark Council


Southwark Council have spent millions on improvements to the Walworth Road, but locals who live there have to deal with the inadequate management of the rubbish and waste in the area.


Southwark Council undertook a new consultation in 2013 with local residents about how the street could be improved. This set of images was a simple exploration for Southwark Council of waste management in the area.

Costa, from Costa Tyres on John Ruskin Street, after the rubbish collection. A resident for over 30 years who had been locked up for his attempts to clean the area up. He gave up and moved away to Kent.
