Some queer people have swapped mainstream life for spirituality, foregoing standardised religion and rejecting accepted beliefs about life and living. 

This is a selection of images used for a commission for Attitude Magazine and the start of an ongoing project of interviews and portraits exploring consciousness-raising journeys and Queer Spirituality.
